Container Gradesof Shipping container

Important things to know!

When purchasing a shipping container, it’s important to understand the different condition grades available. There are four grades in total, but we offer three categories — for a very good reason.

WHY NOT ALL FOUR

We don't sale bad products! D grade, also known as As-Is is in poor condition and comes with no guarantee of quality or functionality. For this reason, we have decided not to sell D grade containers!

WHAT ARE THE GRADES WE OFFER

"20ft A grade shipping container – new one trip unit for sale"

A GRADE | NEW – One Trip (OT) Containers

These containers have been used only once to ship cargo from the manufacturer. They are in near-perfect condition and ideal if you're looking for the cleanest and most presentable option.

Thanks to their original factory paint and untouched flooring, One Trip containers are often the preferred choice for clients who prioritize aesthetics, longevity, and minimal wear.

If you want a container that looks almost brand new and is built to last, a One Trip container is the best investment you can make.

"20ft B grade used shipping container – cargo worthy condition"

B GRADE | USED – CARGO WORTHY (CW) Container

These containers are structurally sound and meet the standards for international shipping. They may show signs of wear like minor dents, rust, or repairs, but are fully functional.

CW containers are ideal if you want reliable performance and durability, while keeping costs lower than with One Trip units.

"20ft C grade used shipping container – wind and water tight storage unit"

C GRADE | USED – Wind & Water Tight (WWT) Container

Over time, some CW containers may no longer meet all technical criteria for international transport — for example, they may lack a valid CSC plate or show minor structural wear. In these cases it gets downgraded to WWT (Wind and Watertight). This typically happens due to expired certifications, signs of age, or minor damage that doesn’t affect its use for storage but disqualifies it from shipping.

These containers are no longer certified for export but are guaranteed to be wind and water tight — ideal for secure storage and modifications.

If you want a container that looks almost brand new and is built to last, a One Trip container is the best investment you can make.
